Article 1. Definitions

1.1 DLC Couture is an online webshop that makes vintage inspired clothing. Also called "Vintage reproduction". The online store consists of vintage inspired clothing and accessories. Inspired by the vintage fashion icons and the classic timeless silhouettes from the 1940s to the 1970s. Fashion classics created honestly and with love.

1.2 These general terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as: the terms and conditions), which are part of the online shopping activities of DLC Couture, are in accordance with the Dutch Consumers Association.

Article 2. Applicability

2.1 Our conditions apply to all offers, orders and agreements concluded via our website www.dlccouture.com and exclude all possible other general conditions of sale.

2.2 Accepting an offer and / or placing an order takes place with acceptance of the applicability of these conditions.

2.3 Any deviations from these conditions can only take place in writing. In the event of a deviation from a certain part of the general terms and conditions, the other conditions will remain in full force.

Article 3. Agreements

An agreement is concluded after the customer has accepted the offer on our website. DLC Couture is entitled to refuse orders or to ask for more information. If an order is not accepted, this will be reported to the customer, stating the reason for rejection.

Article 4. Prices

4.1 The prices of the items listed on the product pages include VAT on orders within the Netherlands and orders within the European Union. No VAT is charged on non-European orders, but a different charge applies to these orders, as a result of which the prices shown are the final prices. International shipments outside the European Union may be subject to import and customs duties by the local authority and are the responsibility of the customer.

4.2 Shipping costs are (unless stated otherwise) not included in the prices of the products. Before entering into the agreement, the total price including shipping costs will be announced on our website. Below you will find a shipping overview:

 

Shipping Information

Orders are normally processed and shipped within 3 to 6 weeks of receipt of payment. Every product is handmade and we depend on delivery times from suppliers. That is why we assume no later than 6 weeks. Orders are often shipped earlier. Orders with payment problems may take longer.

All orders are sent as 'parcel post' by PostNL, with a Track & Trace code.

Shipping costs are (unless stated otherwise) not included in the product prices. Before concluding the agreement, the total price including the shipping costs will be stated in the check out. Our shipping costs are as follows:

4.3 DLC Couture cannot be held to price statements that are unmistakably incorrect, for example as a result of obvious typos or printing errors. No rights can be derived from unlawful price information.

Article 5. Payments

5.1 Payment can be made using one of the methods indicated during the ordering process. A customer's orders may be subject to certain additional payment and ordering conditions. After placing an order, the customer will immediately receive a confirmation by e-mail with the total costs, including the shipping costs. Payment is possible through the following methods and is processed in a secure payment environment via Mollie.

iDeal: If you pay via online banking with iDEAL. You can process your payment quickly and easily on the trusted internet banking page of your own bank.

PayPal: A PayPal account is not required. You can process payments directly with credit card and bank. PayPal guarantees a safe and smart payment process. At home and abroad, you can pay with a bank account or credit card in an easy way, without extra costs.

5.2 Payment terms; In case of prepayment by bank or giro transfer, you will be asked to transfer your payment to DLC Couture. Payment must be received in full by DLC Couture within 5 business days (Mon - Fri, excluding weekends and public holidays) after ordering.

If your payment is not received within the stipulated period or without further notification of delay, the order will be canceled. You will receive an email with a payment reminder two days before this period ends. If no message or payment is received by DLC Couture, the order will be canceled.

5.3 The customer authorizes DLC Couture to take all measures necessary to have the customer pay with the desired payment method.

5.4 In the case of payments by bank transfer, the date of payment is the date of receipt into the bank account of DLC Couture.

All other payment methods are processed through Mollie's Internet checkout.

Article 6. Delivery

6.1 DLC Couture strives to process and ship all orders within 5 to 8 weeks, but no later than 9 weeks after receipt of payment. However, DLC Couture is not required to do this.

6.2 If an order cannot be shipped completely, it will not be shipped at all, unless consultation with the customer has taken place. In the event that the delivery of an order is delayed because (part of) the order is not yet ready or for other reasons, or in the event that an order cannot be processed (fully), the customer will be notified within 14 working days after placing the order.

6.3 Deviations in color, type, text and / or price changes reserved. Goods and / or services are clearly and truthfully depicted and / or described, and as complete as reasonably necessary.

Article 7. Retention of title

The ordered items change ownership at the time of delivery of products to the delivery address.

Article 9. Complaints

9.1 We do our best to deliver a good product. Immediately after receiving your order, check the delivered products and report any noticed defects to us by e-mail. If an item has not been delivered in accordance with your order or if it does not meet the description in our webshop, please let us know as soon as possible by phone (Tue - Sat from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm, excluding national holidays) or by e-mail via info@dlccouture.com stating your order number.

Good customer service is very important to us. Always contact us (within a reasonable time of your purchase), if anything is wrong or if the product does not meet your expectations in any other way. Together we will come up with the best possible solution!

Quality of products

Of course it can happen that the quality of a garment does not (no longer) meet your expectations after a certain period of use, for example if the garment shows signs of extreme wear after a short period of use, if a button is missing or if a zipper breaks or if you notice that the item is unbearable after a single wash.

Our clothes must be washed according to the washing instructions. Each order comes with a card with washing instructions. If you have chosen a different cleaning method, your complaint will be rejected at all times.

Article 10. Canceling your order

Orders can be canceled within 2 days. After that it is no longer possible to cancel the order.

We would appreciate it if you inform us as soon as possible when you want to cancel an order placed. You can inform us by e-mail at info@dlccouture.com stating your order number, or by telephone: 0650128758 (Mon - Sat from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm, excluding national holidays)

Article 11. Withdrawal

11.1 You cannot return the ordered products at DLC Couture. Products that you buy through this web shop are custom made to the specification you have entered. The right of withdrawal therefore does not apply. The sale is therefore final after successful payment. If you are not satisfied with the delivered product you can send me an email and we will look for a solution. DLC Couture cannot be held liable due to incorrect measurements of the customer.

Article 12. Orders / communication

DLC Couture cannot be held liable for any misunderstanding, defects, delay or for receiving incorrect orders and messages resulting from the use of the internet or any other means of communication used for communication between the customer and DLC Couture, or between DLC Couture and third parties, insofar as this relates to the relationship between the customer and DLC Couture, unless and insofar as DLC Couture is deliberate or deliberately reckless.

Article 13. Force majeure

Article 14. Applicable law and competent court

14.1 All rights, obligations, offers, orders and agreements to which these terms and conditions apply, as well as these terms and conditions, are exclusively governed by Dutch law.

14.2 Of course it can happen that you are not completely satisfied with our products or services. In that case, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably by email: info@dlccouture.com

14.3 Disputes between parties can be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

14.4 If one or more of these terms and conditions are declared invalid by court decision: the other terms and conditions of these terms and conditions remain in full force, DLC Couture and the ordering customer will jointly agree on the new circumstances that the annulled terms and conditions completely replaced.
